I don’t consider myself to be an idiot in most cases, but when I am approached about something which will help my family and me in cases of emergencies, I guess I am very gullible. My story begins when I was teaching school and often times insurance agents would require a portion of our time after school had ended for the day. This is what happened on this particular day. After my students had gone home, I made my way to the library to hear the insurance agent’s story.
The agent was selling long term disability insurance. I was interested and I had already purchased short term disability insurance. I hoped to never use either policy, but you never know, so I signed up for it and the payments began to be debited from my monthly check.
I have heart issues and I needed a defibrillator, so in October 2003, I received my first implant. To make a short story long, by March of 2004 I left my teaching position and went out on disability. I received my short term and my long term disability insurance. The short term disability was so pleasant and was never a heartache to receive. The long term disability insurance was another headache altogether.
Some months I would receive a check from the long term and other months, I would receive a letter explaining how they had overpaid me, so they would be subtracting the amount from the amount I should have received. It was a very confusing, frustrating, and financially unstable time for my family and me because the insurance was something we just couldn’t count on.
After a time, the insurance company began to send me letters stating that when I received my social security disability, I would be required to pay them back for the amount they had given me. I didn’t believe this because the insurance agent who came to the school to sell it, never once mentioned this small bit of information. And wasn’t insurance for emergency situations and I had never heard of paying back insurance because I had been paying premiums? This is where the gullible part comes in.
After I received my social security disability, I began to be hounded by the insurance company and their lawyers. They wanted their $19,000 and some odd dollars and they wanted it right then. At the time, the insurance company was not my priority because I had lots of doctor, hospital, and medicinal bills that needed to be taken care of first. I even approached my congressmen and my governor to help me with this issue.
Italy is one of those countries that is exploding with culture. The different cities and towns have something different to give to every traveler’s experience. Being the capital, Rome has all these stories of history scattered around the city, and when you find one of the ruins you can just stand in awe for hours on end imagining what it would be like to have lived in that time and how the architecture of these beautiful buildings would have looked.
I just had to visit Rome and it was one of the most fascinating cities I have ever been to. After we got out of the airport with our hire car from Auto Europe, we checked into our hotel and then took a drive down to the city. It seemed that everywhere we turned there was some kind of ruin of a temple or an old piece of architecture. We had to park a little out of the city center due to a lot of traffic and wandered some of the side streets. There were gorgeous Italian shops, which sold different kinds of trinkets and souvenirs.
There are a fair few hills to walk up in Rome, so if you are planning on exploring by foot, take sensible footwear. As we turned around the corner we were greeted by the sound of running water. The Trevi Fountain was so beautiful and was one of the ancient aqueducts that supplied water in ancient Rome. This is also an absolute must-see at night because the entire fountain is lit up with spotlights. We carried on wandering around the side streets until we were all dying for some food, so we found a restaurant and shared a lunch of pizzas, pastas, bread, sausages, cakes, coffee, I could go on forever.
We had to get up and walk off all the carbohydrates we just consumed. We walked up some steps of a huge hill, which we were later told by some passers by was Palatine Hill. This is the centre most of the Seven Hills of Rome. I love Greek and Roman Mythology so I was interested in the mythical history of Romulus and Remus, whom were found in the cave Lupercal here, and is believed how Rome got its name. Looking out across the hill we could see the ruins of the Temple of Venus and Roma and if we looked to our right, there it was, one of the wonders of the world, The Coliseum. It made my holiday.

Are Your Allergies Seriously Affecting Your Life? It’s Time to Seek out Some Sort of Allergy Treatment
Having allergies can affect your life for the worst. Having migraines, stomach aches, sneezing, and coughing, constantly, can affect not only one’s professional life, but one’s personal life as well.
People with allergies sometimes just feel plain miserable. The main reason being, they don’t know what their allergy is and therefore; they don’t know what to do for it.
How do these people find an allergy treatment?
An allergist can find what you are allergic to by way of testing. Thus, he/she can find out what your allergy is and what treatment might best combat your allergy symptoms.
An Allergist Has the Answers
Being allergic to something can be difficult as you are trying to find out exactly what you are allergic to.
If you constantly have a reaction after breakfast, and you drink orange juice every morning, then you may be allergic to citrus. Only your allergist will know for sure what your allergy is. Your allergist can do several tests on you by injecting your skin with several substances. When red or inflamed skin results, then an allergy is present.
This is the best way for you to find out exactly what you are allergic to and then begin a regime of treatments suggested by your allergist to help you.
Allergy treatments will vary depending on your allergy. Your allergist is familiar with various methods of treatments, which include both over the counter and prescription strength. Hopefully, these might alleviate your symptoms completely, or lessen them so you will lead a normal life soon.
When it comes to getting away to somewhere warmer, Spain remains one of the more popular destinations for British holidaymakers, with many thousands flocking to the country each year in search of sun and sangria.
There are a wide range of resorts all around the country, which offer everything from city breaks to activity holidays for all the family.

A popular region for tourists is the Costa Del Sol. Located on the Mediterranean coast, many are drawn to the region for the increasing number of golf courses that are springing up.
However, away from the tees and the rolling greens, the port town of Malaga - known as the Capital of the Costa Del Sol - remains a popular destination for those looking to combine history with relaxation.
Malaga is famed for being the birthplace of the famous surrealist artist Pablo Picasso. Indeed, the city’s Picasso museum remains one of its most popular attractions.
Malaga also has a rich history, which can be seen in the castles and cathedrals dotted about the city, all of which are a car or train journey away from the main town centre.
The main city centre is bustling with those looking to take in the multitude of designer shopping outlets, with little streets and squares with traditional tapas bars nestled in amongst the shopping malls, boutiques and department stores.
Here’s some personal advice on how not to screw up your computer or laptop based on stupid things I’ve done over the years. This article should be of help to people who are brand new on the computer, people without much experience and possibly people with mid-level computer skills, who if nothing else can use this as a refresher. I’ve also included some other advice and pointers to help you avoid other potential computer pitfalls. I’m sure this is elementary advice to the more experienced computer user.
What Not to Do on Your Computer or Laptop if You Don’t Want to Mess Them up:
1. Do not delete anything that you don’t know what you’re deleting. For example, if you delete a driver, you can totally screw the computer up. So do not delete anything unless you know what you’re deleting & know it won’t harm your computer by deleting. If you’re not sure, do not delete.
2. Do not go to porn sites at all. This has nothing to do with morality but a lot of them have viruses, spyware and adware on them.
3. Do not open up any email with an attachment that you do not know who the sender is. Delete them. I also would not open up any email period if you do not know who the sender is. If you see an email from a place like Ebay, Paypal and Amazon, a Bank, etc. and the subject does not make sense- I.E., "Your account is suspended", etc., do not open it up, chances are its bogus with some nasty hidden computer code attached or its a scam email, On a lot of these suspicious emails you can check if they’re genuine by looking at the messages on the actual site. I would never open up any Ebay message for example unless it is in your Ebay message Box.
4. Do not download any software from a site unless you know it is a legitimate site. A lot of sites are known to contain spyware, adware, and perhaps viruses. If you are going to download free software, I would only do it from sites like Download.com, Tucows, Microsoft, the software company’s website, etc. As an aside, I have an Ezine Article on Free Software that you might find helpful, titled "10 Great Free Computer Software Programs and Applications (OK Some Of Them Are Cheap Software!), " Ezine ID 1062401
5, If you are not sure how to install a program, ask someone with experience. If you do install a program, initially just use the defaults and don’t try to custom install it because the chances are you will screw it up.
6. When deleting a program, go to the control panel where it says add or delete a program and if during the deletion process it asks you if you wish to remove all files or a certain file which may cause damage, click no and/or no to all. This will seem clearer to you when that happens.
